Projects Under Construction & Recently Completed
Footings have been installed onsite. We have now started our transition into underground utilities with our eyes set on pouring out he floor slabs in the horizon!
The team has worked extremely hard on getting all the foundation and floor slab areas thawed out and ready for concrete.
Avalon Townhomes Inver Grove Heights, MN - a new (2) story, 4-, 5-, & 6-unit townhouse buildings (10 total) with attached garages.
We continue to turn over buildings and have residents move in. Eight of the Ten buildings now have Temporary Certificate of Occupancies and are nearing completion on the inside of the last two buildings. As soon as spring arrives, we will start landscaping of the townhomes, finish the last retaining wall, and pour the last couple driveways.

Avalon Apartments, Inver Grove Heights, MN - 4 (four) Story Apartment Building w/ 1 Level of Underground Parking & 1/4 Garage on 1st (E Shaped Building) 190 Units
We have now started welcoming residents into the Avalon Apartments with the receiving of the Temporary Certificate of Occupancy for Phase 1. Furniture is starting to roll into the common areas, and we are happy to see residents calling the Avalon Apartments home. On phase 2, we are wrapping up first floor unit finishes and have started cleaning units and prepping for turnover of phase 2. As soon as spring arrives, we will wrap up the exterior landscaping and courtyard area with a sport court, bocce court, pool, grill stations, and playground area.

Summerville Flats is a beautiful four-story, 133-unit, multi-family apartment in lovely Helena, MT. Despite the cold weather conditions, we have (9) nine buildings under various stages of construction.
The first townhome has progressed to the finish stages for both interior and exterior work. The remainder are following right along with an average of a 2-week stagger in their schedules. We anticipate being in a position for occupancy in the first (3) three units in May. The Owner’s Management team is already accepting applications for spring move-ins.
Needless to say, with the number of buildings and varied stages of construction we typically have as many as 75 workers on site performing everything from framing to shingles, siding drywall and soon painting and finishing carpentry.
Another great event as always was put on by the Associated Builders and Contractors of Minnesota and North Dakota with Guest Speaker Hall of Fame Twin Joe Mauer.
We are proud to announce that one of our projects this year, The Plaza at Hazeltine earned and Eagle Award at the 2024 ABC Excellence in Construction Awards banquet this year. The prestigious award goes out to all the hands that were able to put this job together and make it happen. What a way to break into the new year with scoring this Eagle.
Thank you to all the partnerships we have to continue to make these projects possible! It’s a great honor to watch the fellow ABC subcontractor members that were apart of this project to also receive accolades on stage.
Skyline on Sunwood is a four (4) Story multi-family apartment /commercial space w/ 1st Floor Parking located in Ramsey, MN.
We have been extremally busy working between the up and downs with the weather conditions.
Phase #1 is moving into finishes stage and Phase #2 is finishing up with framing.
Roofing will be dries in by the middle of February.
We will be starting on installing the Indoor pool in the middle of February. .
As we approached this Holiday Season, Lyon Contracting and Trident Development reflected upon the many blessings we’ve experienced over the past year and to be thankful for them.
We had a great and amazing opportunity to give back and help others in need just by volunteering a couple of hours of our time.

On Thursday December 19th, with a small introduction from MATTER and what they are about and their mission, we assembled and boxed 800 snack packs.
These boxes were dropped off at IDS 742 and the Boys and Girls Club.
A fun activity for the our Team was planned on Friday November 22nd.
It was a beautiful day to enjoy a great pheasant hunt. The smiles in the photos say it all. From 1st time hunters to well advance hunters, it was a successful event.
Thanks to Gold Meadows Preserve for the great pheasants and even a couple of bonus Albino Pheasants.
Lyon Contracting, Inc. and Trident Development celebrated Christmas early this year! The celebration took place on Friday November 1st at the Xcel Energy Center watching the MN Wild take on the Tampa Bay Lightning. Great game, great conversations, and the MN Wild winning the game 5-3!
