Under Construction - Cloud on 5th St. Cloud, MN
We would like to announce that the team of contractors at Cloud on 5th put the finishing touches on and we officially received the certificate of occupancy on this remodel project. It's been rewarding to take the previous SCSU Welcome Center and convert it into 16 new wonderful homes for residents. This project wouldn't have turned out like it did without the help of the hundreds of individuals that came through and put this project together.

Under Construction - Compass Apartments Bozeman, MT
MEP crews have been working hard throughout all floors of the building. We have 5th and 4th floor completed with rough ins. Insulation being installed on 4th floor and sheetrock has started on 5th floor. The vaulted ceilings overlooking the mountains really do look amazing on this project!
With spring now here, we are set to start siding prep next week and transition into getting the exterior façade installed.
Under Construction - Orchard Place Apartments, Apple Valley, MN
Orchard Place Apartments is starting to take shape as we continue to work through the framing portion of the job and begin to start the roof work. Our MEP contractors are on site and starting their rough in process as they chase the framers up the building. Site work has started, (now that spring is here), and our retaining wall contractors are well into the install of their walls. We enjoy seeing all the progress to date and look forward to what our teams continue to achieve as we bring another great community to the City of Apple Valley. .

Earth Day 2026
Lyon Contracting Employees took time out of their busy day Friday morning to take part in Earth Day. Cleaning up garbage in all the wooded areas around our building/parking lot. 8 volunteers = 12 bags of garbage!

First Aid / CPR Safety Training - April 3, 2026
Lyon Contracting, Inc. continues to provide yearly First Aid Safety training for their employees and values the importance of safety on all jobsites.
All Site Superintendents and Project Managers attended this group training.
The coarse provided First Aid certification and CPR.

Under Construction - Synergy Powerline Construction, Sauk Centre, MN
The building exterior is complete! We are waiting on spring to allow the remaining grading and utility work to be completed so we can pour the remaining exterior concrete.
The interior work finish work is in full swing. We have the wall liner completed and the warehouse M&E work has started. Crews will be hanging lights, fans and heaters in the next weeks to finish this up.
The offices are framed, M&E rough-ins are complete and sheetrock is being delivered. We anticipate the interior work to be being 100% by the end of May. To match that date, exterior finish will require a little cooperation from Mother Nature.
